Charming Guest House with peaceful surroundings in the middle of the countryside, located near Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion and Sauternes

The Guest House bedrooms so-called Sauternes and Saint-Emilion are located in a very calm rural environment in the Bordeaux wine region between Cadillac and Targon. The bedrooms are all equipped with private bathroom and spacious shower. The bedrooms have a wonderful view over the vineyard and are equipped with free Wi-Fi connection.  Breakfasts are served at the host's main table in a lovely family style atmosphere. For the table d’hôtes meals are prepared using seasonal, organic, and regional products often from the garden.

The house has been carefully restored with ecological materials. You will be invited to rest and let go in a warm atmosphere which offers you the privilege of moments of conviviality and calm. For a business trip you will enjoy the calm and be able to relax after a busy day. In the winter the lounge is heated by a traditional Alsatian wood-burning stove called « Kachelofe » bringing you heat and conviviality. Library materials and board games are available in the lounge. We are at your disposal to provide any relevant information and help to make your stay with us enjoyable.

A tasting of organic wines can be organized with the vineyard Boudon our direct neighbour.  In the surrounding areas you will be able to practice fishing, hiking, tree-top-walking… The Entre Deux Mers area has an exceptional Roman heritage with typical villages, Roman churches, castles… Of course Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion which are classified as an UNESCO World Heritage site deserve a visit.

Bordeaux International airport is located 45km from our Guest House and only 12km from the Train Station from Cérons. The city of Arcachon, the bay of Arcachon and the Ocean are 90km away.

We are open year round with the exception of the Christmas and end of year festivities.

We speak fluent German and have basic knowledge of English.
